This is what i wrote in my high school's Mid-term test titled "Beauty"

Beauty

Beauty, as people say, is in the eyes of the beholder. But, other people would say that it will be only in the eyes of the Beer-Holder. The two particular statements are not completely correct but it is also not completely wrong. As the saying goes, one man's meat is another man's poison.

Beauty lies everywhere. In the form of words, in the form of an artwork, or even in the form of sound can one experience beauty. For example, the word Spectacular, pronounced S-Pec-Tac-U-Lar is a letter which consists eleven letters. Even so, no word can ever sound the same as spectacular. The same goes for art. For example, Mona Lisa, an artwork which potrays a lady sitting elegantly, is a remarkable artwork by Leonardo Da Vinci which is praised by thousands if not hundreds of thousands of people. But to me, I myself never liked that particular artwork because it is as though the lady is staring right through one's soul like the Spear of Longinus, piercing right through one's Soul and mind. I myself would prefer Van Gogh's Starry Night. That particular painting depicts a lone village which is serene and peaceful, and unlike Mona Lisa. It is devoid of human figures. Both of these pictures have one common goal, which is to immortalize that particular place and setting or to immortalize the lady in the painting.

If one says that the word beauty can only be used to refer to something pretty and spectacular, that particular statement is correct, but how does one actually define pretty as one's definition of pretty would normally differ from another person's definition so there is no way a beautiful painting can be beautiful to everyone. For instance, the Great Red Dragon, which depicts a shockingly horrid lizard which has ten wings is seen by another person as an epic artwork of Gargantuan size and proportion. Another man next to him might even depict it as an abstract art.

Another type of beauty lies in humans. Any human is beautiful, be it a child or an adult. Male or Female, Fat or slim. Just like tea, people normally tend to like sweet teas but other people would prefer bitter ones like Green tea. While other refers Green tea as earthy. But, there will always be a teacup specialized for that particular tea. In human beings, there are two specific types of beauty, one where you show it from your actions and the latter which is shown physically. A good artwork is always hard to paint and it takes time to paint it to perfection. After it is done, it will not be famous in days, nor months let alone years.. but once it is recognized, it will be a priceless treasure that everyone wants. This is the same for a person's beauty. If a person is beautiful yet has a heart of thorns, or a person who has a heart of gold but has a body so unattractively repulsive that even people will run away from her the first time they met. Do you think both of the individuals mentioned are perfect in every way? In my opinion, perfection will never be obtained by normal means but is a gift from the gods that must be cherished by the person granted with perfection.

Beauty can also be found in sceneries, The Great Savanna, the peaceful wildlands, the pale snowy field, or even the large concrete jungles all have their own aspects of beauty and painting them captures the aspects of a scenery making it last forever even if the painter has died or the place i no longer there, it will always remain in the heart of those who have seen the painting forever.
